Colombian Arepas originated in the mountainous region of the departments of Antioquia and the “Old” Caldas. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the corn to make the masa for the arepas was prepared using a "pilón" or a hallowed tree trunk. The Arepa has become a perfect complement for all meals. An arepa can be eaten by itself or it can be served with different meats or cheeses.

The United States has become the world leader in corn production with exceptional corn quality and variety.

The production of arepas and other products from La Cosecha contain first quality raw material to offer an excellent product to the consumer.
